We bring together donors, Alberta Health Services and leading medical organizations locally and globally to fund and implement breakthrough initiatives in three key areas: care, wellness and research.

We have served the community for over 25 years, and, thanks to the generosity of our donors and the hard work of our staff and partners, in that time Calgary Health Foundation has raised over $506 million for health care. Due to our connected and collaborative nature, we have the opportunity to bring partners and donors together to impact changes to Calgary’s health care at a system-wide level.

Why Give?

Our community deserves access to the most effective treatments, the most advanced technology and superior precision care to provide the very best chance of fighting and beating a wide spectrum of health issues.

Why Now?

The past has shown us that the future can present unexpected health threats, especially to our most vulnerable. Now, more than ever, there is a need to invest in our health care provisions to strengthen, protect and improve quality for life for current and future generations.

Why Calgary Health Foundation?

We are connectors — a single, efficient source of support for Calgary hospitals and community health. We see the bigger picture, and we have the experience and expertise to know exactly when and where to invest for the biggest impact on health outcomes.

Our Market Opportunity

We are the catalyst for transforming healthcare in Calgary.

Our opportunity space is rooted in the scale and impact of what can be realized.

  • Scale is about the breadth of impact on the overall system. It is powered by the network effect of partnerships. It is not limited to a singular cause.

  • Impact is about accelerating transformation. It is defined by a need to realize significant progress quickly. When impact is marginalized, we become a facilitator of incremental change.
